The Quintessential Gent – Talking shoes.

You don’t have to be overly ostentatious to stand out.

You don’t have to break the bank to look good, like grabbing a pair of John Lobb or even a Berluti Rapieces Reprises.

And you don’t have to settle for quantity over quality either!!!!!

According to Lynne Marks, an Atlanta-based image consultant and President of the London Image Institute (lol, yes it does exist), “men let themselves down on their shoes, they either don’t think that shoes are important, or they seem to think that shoes can’t be seen. Either way, it’s a big mistake”.

Personally, I’ve always found English shoes quite sturdily built and last longer than most Italian shoes (my other choice of shoes) of same price range.

Loake, Crockett and Jones, Testoni, Cheaney Shoes, Barker, Grenson Albert and Church’s are some definite YES, so are other brands found in the Saville Row shops like the William Hunt seen in these photos, which would set you back about £155 (most William Hunt shoes retail for between £100 – £270).

Whatever your taste, having the right pair of shoes definitely does wonders for that manly feet, and YOU 😉.
